WWP Wildcats is joining forces with the Hightstown Rams Football Program in 2022! We are excited to have this partnership continue as we build a great youth tackle football program for kids in the Mercer County area.
SPRING FOOTBALL 2022!!!
Parents of 7th and 8th Graders --> The Pop Warner conferences of New Jersey are forming a Spring League. Hightstown will be hosting a team at the 14U level, head-coached by Brian Conway. The season consists of 6 games and playoffs.
This is a great opportunity to have your kids build additional skills in preparation for High School football, or to try a new position that is not restricted to a limit on weight. The WWP United JV team finished their season strong and the Freshman team at Hightstown High School were undefeated. Many of the players from both teams great up as Wildcats or Rams. Their knowledge of the game and tackling technique was truly enhanced through Pop Warner coaching at a youth level.
Practices begin in March, with the season starting in April. All coaches are certified under USA Football, who receive great training and have access to resources, allowing them to teach each player the skills they need to find success.
FALL FOOTBALL - AGE-BASED TEAMS
For this Fall season, Pop Warner will be introducing divisions for all age levels: 6U, 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U. These are unlimited weight divisions where most kids will be playing opponents who are the same age. More to come on this!
