WWP Wildcats Cheer 2023
REGISTRATION FOR THE FALL 2023 is now OPEN!
Welcome to WWP Wildcats! WWP Wildcats Cheer is a challenging and exciting program for ages 5-13 (must be age six by Oct. 1) which focuses on hard work, team bonding, learning, sportsmanship, spirit, discipline and, most importantly: FUN! Cheer is one of the only sports where every player on the squad has an important role to play and is critical to the team's success, no matter their size, experience or ability. It never ceases to amaze the parents when you see what they accomplish by the end of the season!
This year, all of our Cheer teams will be Competition Teams. There are 3 different age bracketed-categories: Jr. Varsity, Mitey Mite, and Tiny Mite.
Competition teams spend the fall perfecting an amazing 2.5-minute choreographed dance, stunt and tumbling routine with the ultimate goal of making to Nationals. In the last 10 years, Wildcats have made it to Nationals in Florida SIX TIMES!!! Competition teams should expect to practice at least 3 days per week and perform at least twice, possibly up to five times in the season, which runs from August 14 through (possibly!) December 10. Registration fee includes the cost of these competitions and practice gym space as well as socks, a practice tee shirt and a bow.
We also have curl parties, pizza practices, bucket decorating and other fun activities throughout the season!
