The Little Scholar program is an opportunity for our Wildcats family to celebrate your child’s academic achievements. We encourage leadership on and off the field and have many athletes who excel.

Qualifications are simple:

1. Please make sure you submit 3 copies of your child’s report card with registration paperwork. The GPA will be tallied for you by a WWP Wildcats Little Scholar committee.
2. Athletes who meet the Pop Warner requirements of Little Scholar (based on GPA) will be notified by your Team Mom.
3. You will be sent a short application to complete so that the selection committee has a full picture of all of the activities and achievements your child is involved in. We see one view, but as a parent, this is your time to get to brag about your child.
4. Athletes will fall into one of three categories, 1 st Team, 2cnd Team or Honorable Mention. Rankings are typically based on how much they accomplish in addition to their cheer /football sport.
5. You will be notified by CNJ Pop Warner what level your child has been awarded. You will be invited to a dinner celebrating all CNJ Athlete Scholar.
6. The same process will take place for Eastern Region Little Scholar, and then National Little Scholar.
7. 8th grade athletes may also be awarded a college scholarship from the National Scholar program based on their National overall ranking.

Our children work so hard on and off the field and this is a great opportunity to recognize and celebrate their hard work.
